郑永飞认为，遗传常常体现在智商上，智商不高的人，只要够努力、情商高，比智商高的人成功概率更大。而教育则是应该“练好基本功、掌握真本领、发展好苗子”。 “中国大学最大的问题，就是课堂上的课程太多，课外实践太少，导致学生学了很多无用的书本知识。所以我们培养了很多硕士博士，但社会还是缺少人才。 ”
