Are plans made to be broken?Just kidding...but..it is hard to follow the plans. At the same time, I don’t want to give myself too much of a difficult time dwelling on the fact the plans aren't followed. On the contrary, I should look for the causes so I could carry out the plans more smoothly in the future.
Am I on the right track? I was listening to an audiobook and it says it is easy to find out whether I am on the right track. And that is to ask myself from time to time: “how am I feeling, really?” If the answer is “I'm feeling anxious.” What is causing it? If the answer is “I'm feeling happy.” Then I should do more of whatever is giving me a good mood!
So the answer is simple: follow my feelings. Will that be a danger to me if I just indulge myself in eating snacks or binge watching shows or lying on bed? No! I said to myself. To be very honest, I don’t really feel happy when I'm devouring the snacks, maybe my senses were satisfied, but not my mind. I was craving for more. On the other hand, when I exercise or when I study a difficult but interesting concept, my senses are challenged, in terms of struggling to keep up the efforts, but my mind is satisfied.
