系统升级到Linux Mint Tara

看到Linux Mint在7月份发布了Tara，即19.0，到现在也算稳定了一段时间，打算升级一下桌面系统。过程记录如下：

1. 安装升级工具

   sudo apt install mintupgrade
   

2. 检查

   mintupgrade check
   

   也没检查出个结果来,没说不能装,那就继续呗.

3. 下包

   mintupgrade download
   

   下载速度一般,就没管它了.看完电视回来发现有一个包下载失败.八成又是被伟大的防火墙给截胡了.用proxychains挂代理:

    proxychains mintupgrad download
   

4. 升级

   mintupgrade upgrade
   

   也没做什么备份,嫌麻烦,直接开撸.
   期间碰到一个报错,且升级被终止:

      dpkg: error processing package gconf2 (–configure):
      dependency problems – leaving triggers unprocessed
      dpkg: dependency problems prevent processing triggers for gconf2:
      gconf2 depends on dbus-x11; however:
      Package dbus-x11 is not configured yet.
   
      dpkg: error processing package gconf2 (–configure):
      dependency problems – leaving triggers unprocessed
      dpkg: too many errors, stopping
      Errors were encountered while processing:
      gconf2
      gconf2
      Processing was halted because there were too many errors.
      E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
   

   重试了多遍,错误依旧存在.google了一下,没见几个人撞见这货.倒是人家升级ubuntu系统有过这个错,试了一下他们的处理方法.幸运的是,问题解决了.着实不想折腾系统.

   sudo apt install -f
   mintupgrade upgrade
   

5. 最终效果

   • 图标改扁平风格了.看着还行.
   • 触摸板一如既往的不能用.打字的时候飘.
   • 讲apt的ppa配置拷贝回source.list.d目录,重新update缓存,更新了vscode.其他没见异常.
   • 字体有些变化,没有以前那么圆润了,不是很好看.将就着用.
