银河护卫队20190305早报Rafał Trzaskowski, the Mayor of Poland’s capital city, Warsaw, has received backlash after signing a declaration to protect LGBT+ rights.
The declaration is the first ever LGBT+ declaration to be signed in central-eastern Europe, and the first document to officially recognise LGBT+ rights in Poland.
The declaration signed by Trzaskowski is said to guarantee the basic needs of Warsaw’s LGBT+ community, and enable local administrations to provide what the Polish government refuse to put into practice, according to Gay Star News.

银河护卫队20190305早报Hundreds of people joined a charity run to promote awareness about diverse sexuality and to support sexual minorities under a bright blue sky in Tokyo on March 2.
The first Tokyo Rainbow Marathon was held at Showa Kinen Park, which straddles the western Tokyo cities of Tachikawa and Akishima.
A total of 479 runners, of different ages and including non-Japanese citizens, took part in such events as a half marathon, a 10-kilometer run and a 5-km run.
Rainbow flags, the symbol of the rights of sexual minorities, were flying at the venue.
“I used to be called ‘a queer old man in drag,’ but we now have the phrase LGBT,” said Kazumi Furuta, 69, who changed her gender to female on her family register last year. “It is important to have many people learn this expression.”
