How does a 3D printer work?
The emerging of 3D printer technology, as well as the VR technology, was generally seen as the most updated trend and the greatest possibility of changing people's lives in the world. With the 3D printer, the world is no longer flat.
A typical 3D printer is very much like an inkjet printer operated from a computer, mainly composed by Control assembly parts, mechanical assembly parts, print head and nozzle, consumables and media etc. Printing principle is the same as inkjet printer. The only difference is that before printing, a complete 3D model needs to be established in computer. The computer separate 2D prints that sit one on top of another. Then It builds up a 3D model one layer at a time, from the bottom upward, by repeatedly printing over the same area in a method known as fused prepositional modelling( FDM). Not using ink, 3D printer uses molten plastic or powder to print layers and confuses them together to the existing structure with adhesive or ultraviolet light, that is to say one layer of plastic, one layer of adhesive, another layer of plastic then adhesive, circling the process until finish the printing.
3D printing technology has benefited human beings by printing artificial organs like ears, even hearts etc. having a wide application in top medical industry. How will 3D printing technology continue to bring welfare? let's wait and see.
