When it comes to an interesting part of my country , the first comes into my mind is Guangzhou, located in Guangdong province , not far away from HongKong.

Guangzhou is one of the most prosperous city in China. As you know, in the 1978 , thanks to the reform and opening policy , Guangzhou seize the opportunity to develop. During the 30 years , Guangzhou has witnessed tremendous changes in the aspect of economy、infrastructure、compulsory education and social welfare.

As for how i know about it , While i was in my high school , i learnt in my history lesson that the UK government compelled China to open the port of Guangzhou after they win the first opium war.*

**And even today Guangzhou derive many profits and benefit from its fantastic location and rich/ sufficient port resource.

The first point i want to begin with is that it is full of attractive natural spot, public parks and lots of tall buildings, displaying both its naturalness and modernity. For example, carton tower ,which is a landmark of Guangzhou, has a peculiar shape like a elegance women. And it attracts millions of visitors every year.
