员工过度忠诚会对组织不利。如果员工报告发现的问题后被公平对待,则更容易上报问题,如果担心忠诚,则不会将问题上报。而且,有研究表明,竞争环境中,忠诚过度的员工会为了自己组织而作出欺骗行为。
员工忠诚也有利好的一面。公司希望员工尽心尽力,不会动辄就投靠竞争对手公司,员工也希望公司能够值得长期托付。但是职场的忠诚毕竟是利益驱动,而非道德驱动。员工是因为喜欢这份工作而留在公司,而不是因为觉得离开公司不符合道德而留在公司。
