INNERMOST MIND AND HEART
Under the old covenant God had made with humankind, He wrote His laws to His people upon tablets of stone. But now, under this new covenant of grace, or which Jesus is mediator, God imprints His laws on His peoples’ minds. He writes them directly upon their hearts.
Under this new covenant, God promises to help you to understand, to know, to believe His laws, the power to put them into action, the courage to live your life in accordance with them, and the memory to retain them.
Never feel you are going through this life ill-prepared or unguided. For God has equipped your innermost heart and mind to lean, learn, love, and live His way.
Thank You, Lord, for imprinting Your laws of love and life upon my mind, for engraving them upon my heart. With Your handwritten message deep within me, I know I will neither lose my way nor Your love.
