1.rankle: if sth rankles, you still remember it angrily because it upset you or annoyed you a lot

“He” and “him” and “his” are words that rankle（使）痛苦不已.

His refusal rankled me.

2. dutifully: if you do sth dutifully, you do it because you think it is the correct way to behave

Then I would dutifully尽职尽责地 turn to page 9 and find myself in an interesting story

The police dutifully insists on his position at anytime.

3. a woman who gets mugged抢劫 is a shapely stewardess空姐 or a pert brunette.

今天又手贱去刷知乎，现在想想知乎吸引我的很大一部分原因不就是因为上面有很多人讲述很多自己地经历，而那些经历是truth是interesting。我喜欢看Zhao DaiWei和之前Jane的笔记很大一部分原因不也是他们总是把自己有趣的生活经历写进感想？ 写作也大抵如此。
