Some think that practical subjects are more important than theoretical subjects in university, and the latter will be replaced by the former in the future. To what extent do you agree or disagree.

Young people could embrace many opportunities to enter university nowadays, pursuing degrees of different subjects，such as arts, sciences and engineering. Although some people reckon that practical subjects should replace theoretical subjects which are insignificant in helping graduates to find well-paid jobs , I would argue that practical and theoretical sessions are equally important in higher education.
The advantage of practical subjects is that young people majoring practical disciplines are well informed with knowledge and skills which can be applied in workplaces easily. For example, those studying accounting could work as an accountant which is necessary in nearly every companies and industry, and thus more employment opportunities can be provided. By contrast, it is difficult for history students to find employment after they graduates, since this academic subject is unlikely to be drawn upon in daily life.
However, we must recognize the fact that universities do not only have the function of facilitating young people to enter workplaces; instead, pursuing artistic appeal and exploring the meaning of life in terms of psychology are also vitally important in university education. Younger generation can learn from history about the tendency of human society development， which can open their mind and make them wiser, whereas businesspeople who worked for years can return to university to enrol in some theoretical course, since this can help them have deep understanding of some information that they faced in the work place.
To summarise, practical subjects enable to improve students living skills which can help us earn fortune, whereas theoretical sessions are key to gain better understanding of the world.
