      Today we will learn the third control system called the Boundary Control System, which is related to strategic positioning. At this level, the most essential questions are later summed up as four simple questions: 1. Where exactly is our space ? 2. Are we competition in that space ? 3. Can our core resources support our competition there ? 4. Is competition there beyond the level of risk acceptable to us ? To discuss these issues clearly, organizations must set up a Boundary Control System, the behavior of the enterprises will be uncontrolled, and ultimately will deplete the valuable resources of the enterprise. This self-imposed limitation retains the vitality of the organization and creates opportunities for the great development.           

      今天我們來學習第三種控制體系，叫邊界控制體系，它是與戰略定位有關的控制體系。在這個層面，最本質的問題後來被概括成了四條簡單的問題：1.我們的空間究竟在哪裏？2.我們在那個空間里，究竟有沒有競爭力？3.我們的核心資源是不是可以支持我們在那裏競爭？4.在哪裏競爭有沒有超出我們可以接受的風險水平？要把這些問題討論清楚，組織必須要給自己設置一個“邊界控制體系”，因爲如果沒有這樣的體系，企業的行爲就會不受控，最後會耗盡企業的寶貴資源。這種自我設限保留了組織的有生力量，創造了發展的機會。
