There are many activities that need us to invite our friends and relatives and to entertain them. There is no denying that the activities of entertainment of Bai people still exist some traditional customers. The important activities includes wedding ceremony, house which was completely done, a baby's first month birthday, Graduation Dinner and other banquet, mentioned above activities call for a celebration, and the entertainment lasts for three days. During the time of fetes m, all of villagers and other friends and relatives will help the host of this home to do something. Waiting for the day when we began to entertain guest formally, there are put abundant and various dishes that are called "ten bowls and six plates" at the dining table, which meaning is to full of main dishes with ten large bowls and six plates. Especially, the ten large bowls are consist of some traditional dishes and Bai people's delicious food. Some dried product that are known by Bai people are put in six plates. Like Dairy fan, which is a traditional dairy product of Bai people district in Yunnan, including my hometown.
There are another traditional customs when the guests take part in weeding ceremony, they will give some presents to host or offer present money to new couple. In addition, some dance program will be hosted in the night, all old and young people dancing surround the country yard. At this time, it was full of pleasant laughter and the sound of music. What a lively situation! In the past, there was no video camera, so prople couldn't video the dancing video and take photos as a memorable matter. But nowadays it is easy for us to do that. Because mobile phones have these functions, or some people also can invite photography company to video and make a CD of the dancing video. Only in this way can we play the CD whenever we want to watch.
In short, the entertainment customs of Bai people are interesting. It is well worth preserving continuing the customs.
