What we see is not the reality

In our daily life, We often judge the right or wrong of a thing according to our daily perception and our own experience of life, Or we use our perception to determine our first impression of someone.  But is perception really the truth? Does perception seem to be like reality?

First, we need to know what is perception, Perception is the act of seeing, hearing, or otherwise, becoming aware of something through our senses.

The perception is not always reality. For example, When you see a girl wearing glasses, with a book in her hand. Based our perception and our experience,most of us will think that girl was quiet and she is good at learning. But the reality is the girl won the first place in the contest,she is very good at sports. So we could see, Sometimes our perception is not the reality.

And there's another example about the idea of woman can prove that our perception might be wrong and our perception is not the reality.

In history, The common idea of women is that they are very  inferior to man, unable to do well ,  They job should take care of their husbands and children at home. Women  are not allowed to read, They can't go to the school and they can't bo the same job as men do, It's the husband and the children that make up their lives. They do not live for themselves, but for others.This is the women's image in ancient times.

But, In the reality, In the history we can see that the woman can fight, can write books and they can do the things they want to do, And that is not enough, Women can also be the king. For example, Hatshepsut, the famous female pharaoh in the history, In our common idea, We will think that only men can be the pharaoh, And a woman couldn't be a pharaoh, Hatshepsut is an exception, She was born at the height of the new kingdom,  Hatshepsut had become the Pharaoh, she was running the country by herself. From her statue, we can see that she dressed up like a woman, but she has a men's moustache, for that we can call her-The king herself, They all said that female Hatshepsut was a man but the person Hatshepsut was a woman. Throughout her ruling, We'll find out,  The Egypt was flourished, And at that time, There are a lot of trade between Egypt and other countries. So we can see, Hatshepsut, It's almost the only woman that became pharaoh she was also a successful Pharaoh. What we already know is wrong. Our common idea based on perception is wrong,  which is not reality.

This example proves that female is not as weak as people think , They can have their own life and they can do the things they want to do. At the same time, it proves that our perception were wrong, our perception is not accountable, there are many different reasons,  our perceptions do not always lead us to essence as they actually are.

So in our daily life, we will use our perception to judge a thing and define it, but in fact, sometimes it is wrong, cognition is not real, We can't use our perception to perceive reality, We need to explore in the process, use our reality to understand a thing.
