Supervised  learning

given the right  answer  (Practice set )

1, regression problem, estimate,

2, classification problem ,write a line to divide data set , there might be many features which needs algorithm to divide


Unsupervised  learning

Data  with no label, only data set,which needs the algorithm to find the feature

Clustering problem: Google news-different link to the same news ; dna of individuals-to find out whether some of the individuals are with certain genes, algorithm needs to group the data automatically; market  segmentation
