首先我们要记得，在听之前务必看看题目，不难发现这是一个表格填空＋句子填空的题型，并且是一个课程咨询的场景。此时烤鸭们需要了解的一个背景是学校经常会接到很多关于课程设置、课程内容及学校周边环境和设施的咨询电话。本文中打电话的学生经朋友推荐想参加一个业余课程学习，他在电话中询问了目前自己可以做的准备、是否有试听和与老师面谈的机会、上课时间、用餐地点、学校附近是否有代为照顾孩子的地方、健身中心及商务中心可以提供的一切资源和服务。文中提到的student career advice service在每一所大学中都有，每年的校园招聘期间都会给学生发送各大公司的招聘信息，以及举办一系列的招聘见面会。
