基本元素+ 组合算法= ∞  （无限可能）

数学是很多学科和科技应用的理论基础，是不是也可以作为思维工具，应用到我们的生活和学习工作中来呢？

比如：

3+3+3=9  而3×3×3=27

基本元素不变，通过不同组合，放大效能。

栗子：

三原色组合 = 五彩缤纷的世界

26个英文字母组合 = 英语

面包×肉排×蔬菜组合 = 麦当劳各种口味的汉堡

碳元素排列组合 = 各种新型材料（如防弹果冻）

卡通人物×故事×魔法 = 迪士尼源源不断的生命力

...

组合数学无处不在，它的应用就是在纷繁复杂中找到最优解。

【心法应用】

1. 通过组合基本元素，创造无限可能。

2. 透过繁杂的表象，抓住本质元素。（英文写作最看重的一点）

组合数学研究离散对象，而计算机科学的核心内容是使用算法处理离散数据，可以说，组合数学就是信息时代的数学。

企业管理/金融投资/交通...很多领域都有组合数学的影子。

Identify your value proposition with this mathematical concept

"Combinatorics is the branch of mathematics involved with the combination of things. Say I wish to manufacture small plastic figures involving three different head types, four different body types and three different leg types. I only need to manufacture 10 different products (3 + 4 + 3). Right? But if these parts are interchangeable, I can produce 36 different toys (3 × 4 × 3) – 36 products from10 inputs. Neat. Add colors to those shapes – you get the picture. This is how modular toy manufacturing works.”

Here’s how:

• Recognize that success in any industry comes in a variety of forms – if the chosen form makes sense to the target customer.

• Appreciate that post-coronavirus the needs of your target customer may have shifted, e.g. the demand for cruise ships, the delivery of education online.

• Commit to identifying and remaining focused on your target customer — study him, her or it (if a business) in detail.

• Research the strategic factors relevant to your target customer and how they define them. Interviews are great for this. Build your strategy around those factors.

On the other side of this coronavirus crisis things won’t return exactly as normal. Industry features have shifted, and new niches will emerge. Like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle your business’s profile must fit that of your target customer, who may emerge with slightly different requirements at the other end of this virus. There’ll be a place for you and your business. Why not use combinatorics to find it?
