The story was written by Mairi Mackinnon, he is from England. It was illustrated by Mike Gordon and Carl Gordon.

Please look at the cover, there was a maid and a queen. Something happened. The queen was sick. The palace is sleeping, the moon is pale. A light in the night, and a thin, sad wail... ‘Oo-oo-oo!’

Then it was in a mess in the palace. The maid cried, ‘Quick, quick, the Queen is sick!’ The Queen has a pain! The maid calls a footman. ‘We need Doctor Don.’ ‘I can tell the Queen, he will not be long.’

Unfortunately, storm clouds are gathering. The footman frets. ‘I will need a coat. I will get too wet.’ ‘Look at that rain!’ The footman is in a terrible flap. ‘Is this the right road? I wish I had a map!’ Ah, here’s Doctor Don’ house. It’s raining still. ‘We need to be quick, the Queen is sick.’ ‘She cannot wait.’ They hurried to the palace. ‘Look, here is the doctor. Go quickly, and tell...’ ‘But Look at the Queen! She is up, she is well!’ ‘She is not in pain?’ The Queen is all smiling. She says with a trill, ‘And I feel right as rain!’

Now something happened and was funny, look at the footman, the maid, they both feel very surprised, and then look at the doctor, what happened to him? He just fell down on the floor, and say, ‘Oh, my god!’ The little dog can’t believe it’s eyes, either. ‘Oh, poor doctor and footman!’

The story has finished, let’s act it out. Do you like it? Yes, Candy, you are the Queen; Rain, you are the footman; Bobby, you are the doctor; Linda, you are the maid. Now we are in the castle. The palace is sleeping. All is silent. Suddenly, ‘Oo-oo-oo’.....
