高考那年你印象最深的是什么？
“最后一次语文课，老师听写，听写的是全班人的名字。”
In our last Chinese class, the teacher made us practice dictation by writing each and every classmate's name.
“哥们说了一句话，考完试，这辈子，这个班，基本是聚不齐了。”
A friend said: after the exam, the members of this class will never have a complete reunion for the rest of ours lives.
“以为考完会有通宵狂欢，结果玩到半夜才突然意识到好想回家。”
I thought I would celebrate the whole night after the exam，but by midnight I was wishing to be home.
“就在高考前，人生还有无限种可能。”
Right before the exam, our lives still had countless possibilities.

I lost my exam pass the night before the big day. Everything turned dark and I felt I lost part of me. I thought about different plans, but going to college was not one of them. I called and texted all my classmates to tell them watch out for their passes. I retraced my steps going all the way to the bus stop which I took from school. I met a kindhearted stranger and between her hands was my ticket. She has been waiting for me. I wish her all the best. I always count on strangers' kindness.

I never experienced the joy of pursuing study and chasing details ever again.

We used to sneak out of school. Now we sneak in.

After the last day of school, I took out the battery of my alarm clock, which had woken me up for three years. Naively, I wished for time to stop, but it only pushes forward.
“考前最后一天，男班主任没讲题，而是一张一张桌子地走过去盯着我们看。我们被他看得发毛，他说，我要用力记住你们,怕以后忘了”
The last day before exam, our class teacher stopped analyzing questions, and he unexpectedly started walking past each desk and staring at us. We felt awkward, but he said “I am attempting to remember each of you in case I forget you in future.”
