Because I selected about 10 pic books for 10 to 15 days, so I brought some books we’ve already read before in my backpack during the way to the school on the metro. Today I brought 4 books with me.

My son started from “Big red barn”. Today he can recognized more poultry, and told the names to me, when I said the name of the animal, I asked his help for finding the animal, he loved to do that can mostly point them out. During today’s reading, he couldn’t wait for me finished reading the words on every page, he liked to see the pic more than listening the words from me, I think maybe I need to read more pic books at home, coz we could may make some activities to be more vivid for the books.

The second book came to “My mum”. When I read this book, he was more interested in the circumstance he experienced in his own life, like counting the cakes, “the mum” doing the make up and “the mum” singing a song while playing a guitar. I would hug him each time at the end of this book. This book’s difficulty was whether I should explain too much to him, or just let him understand as the time went by.

The 3rd book he chose was “Guess how much I love u” which he loved most these days, I thought I need to make some activity for this book. He liked the little nutbrown hare doing different movements, when I spoke the words, he could imitate the movement. Each time he read the big nutbrown hare doing the movements, he would say “wow”. When I spoke the tree trunk and the branches, he really knew what it was. I thought I need to read this book at home, coz the metro was crowded, not very convenient to do some movements.
