Actually I read quite a bit today but only have little time to keep note for it. The "Mixing Paints" tells a story that once Mr. Feynman was told by a painter in Princeton that he can get yellow by mixing red and white paints. He got confused right then because he thought, you can only get pink by mixing red and white. In his words, he had studied light all his life without knowing how to make things like that happen. So he went to buy a bucket of each color from the store and let the painter do the magic. Finally the painter made the mixture yellow by adding a tube of yellow pigment. I like the story because I found Mr. Feynman really interesting and the story is funny. What's more, Feynman got the attitude to figure out things he had doubts about while others could solve. Like he put it in the book.

I've very often made mistakes in my physics by thinking the theory isn't as good as it really is, thinking that there are lots of complications that are going to spoil it --- an attitude that anything can happen, in spite of what you're pretty sure should happen.

What I learned from the story and his attitude, most importantly, is the attitude to insist what you believe even in front of those who have authorities and experience. Dare to challenge it even you may be proved wrong.
