A couple lived through all the sadness, including their only daughter's death and the wife's breast cancer. They may have conflict but still can rely on each other.

A/When Joan was doing the chemo, Tom sat beside her. They argue about trivial things, like rubbish. Even Joan pushed Tom to leave for a cup of coffe, he insisted to stay and stopped talking, just quietly accompany Joan. The scene is simple but warm.
B/ Joan was too painful after chemo and lost her patient. She yelled at Tom, Tom also held great pressure, he knows he can not be broken down. No matter what happened between them, they will never separate with each other. This is really couple.
C/ They met their daughter’s teacher who had cancer. If chemo caused no hair, he decided to enjoy his last days. That also made me think that facing death is very hard to everyone. One day, if I had only few months to life, I wouldnt suffer from treatments, I hope that I have the courage to accept it and do everything I wanna do for the last days.

The most important person is the partner, because life is long, we’ll never know what gonna happen, the partner will be with us to face and solve all the problems.

Tom and Joan are couple, their daughter died by accident. They know each other well and believe that they will live together until the last day. Then Joan felt a lump in her breast, proved to be cancer. The whole movie is about the process of cancer treatment. Very detailed and authentic.
