Laces up her sneakers, and heads out for a jog,

As she runs towards the horizon, like a hungry dog.
With each stride she takes, she feels herself grow stronger,
Her heart beats fast, her breaths come quick and deep,
As she races down the road, she can't help but wonder,
What the day will hold, what secrets it will keep.
She dives into the pool, her body sleek and strong,
She moves with ease and grace, like a mermaid in the sea,
Her muscles flex and ripple, as she swims the lanes along,
And with each stroke she takes, she feels herself set free.
She practices yoga, with a focus and intent,
Her body stretched and bent, like a bow pulled taut,
She finds her center, and feels her mind ascent,
As she holds each pose, with the strength she's wrought.
She lifts the weights, and feels her muscles burn,
Her body taut and firm, like a warrior in the fray,

She dances with abandon, to the rhythm of the beat,
Her body moving fluidly, like a flame that never dies,
She loses herself in the music, with each and every feat,
And feels the joy of life, in each and every guise.
This woman of strength, of power, and of grace,
