eat something in 数词 bites表示用几口就把东西吃完,只一个比较实用的表达

Today my younger brother really blew my plan. I promised him that I would made chocolate-chip cookies for him after I finished my reading task. He acted so obedient and I let my guard down. However, he sneaked into the kitchen and ate all the chocolate I was about to use just in several bites. On top of that, he touched my newly-washed clothes with his fingers not wiped. You know, it really set me off shouting. Right when I put my fingers at him, he knew that I wouldn't let him off the hook. So he just plucked the rest clothes down and ran away.
