Over the past few days, scores of college entrance exams have been released in succession. No matter what the results are, the candidates are definitely considering how to fill in the college aspiration. Because the choice of school, major, city and other factors may be closely related to the future job wage. Therefore, an important factor for candidates to consider is the salary of university graduates.
At the same time, during the graduation season, the problem of College Students' employment has also received attention. According to the data released by the Ministry of Education, the number of college graduates has been increasing every year. This year, the number of college graduates nationwide reached 8.2 million, which is a substantial increase compared to 2017. With anincrease of nearly 250,000 people, college graduates face greater employment pressure.

This list includes surveys of 2017, 2015, and 2013 undergraduate graduates from nearly one hundred universities including 39 985-engineering colleges and 112 211-engineering colleges (the number of survey samples reaches 2.81 million). It calculates the salary status of college graduates.
The following content was visualized and analyzed based on the top 100 data.

Compared with the Grade 2017 graduates, the wage levels of theGrade 2015 and 2013 graduates have significantly increased. In particular, the salaries of 2013 graduates have generally risen by nearly 30%.

However, some college graduates also have wages ranging from 8,000 yuan to 9,000 yuan. So the most important factor in graduation salary depends on individual strength.

From the figure4, we can see that the locations of 65 colleges in the top 100 are in first-tier cities, of which schools in Beijing account for 58.46%. And there are 5 schools with an average salary of 2017 graduates above 9000 yuan, three of which are in Beijing. The number of schools in Shanghai ranks second on the list. The number of schools in the new first-tier cities also not a few, with a total of 24.
Through the above analysis, graduate salaries do have a lot to do with the location of the school and the strength of the school. However, it is also closely related to one‘s own strength and efforts. The college aspiration should analyze comprehensively including not only the external conditions but also the internal like interests. The college entrance examination cannot decide a lifetime. There are many opportunities to counterattack.
