缘起：野雪
艺术是超越宗教、政治、经济、文化、种族以及国家意义的。同时又与此息息相关。利用交流中心这个平台邀请几位来自不同语言，不同文化背景的艺术家一起用艺术互为叙述自己对世界的感觉是我一直想做的事。和雷森明先生的相遇以及他特殊的人生经历让我看到了艺术给予生命和社会的不同意义。多次在一些展览中看到了几位外国艺术家的作品，最大的感染是对艺术语言和材料、技法的突破。也超越了以族群和政治意识形态影响下的是非争端。大都站在人性本来的精神意义思考生命。艺术家以此去思想去感受生命的存在和时间过程。
五个手指合而为一就是一个心的显相，也是一股力量的存在。一心一意。我们用艺术作为祈愿的方法愿世界和平，众生平安！

介绍 - 雷森明
手是成双成对的，左手和右手, 这两个是不同的。虽然它们是不同的，但是它们相互关联。每个手有五个手指,每个手指是不同的，但是他们也有关系。
就像一双手一样，这个展览有两部分艺术家 - 国内和国外。 他们是不同的，但是在这个日益缩小的世界里，他们紧密相连。
每个手指代表一个艺术家。就像手指一样，每个艺术家是不同的。 有的画属于抽象形式，有的画更加具象。有的使用很少颜色，有的运用很多颜色。他们来自中国和外国的不同地方。但是，他们又相互关联。
这两个手 - 国内和国外， 在这次展览中，站在一起，共同做一个友谊和统一的紧密握手。

Introduction (YeXue)
Art is beyond religion, politics, economics, culture, race, and nationality. At the same time, it is closely related to them. I have always wanted to invite artists from different languages, and cultural backgrounds to describe their feelings about the world. Mr. Sridhar Ramasami and his unusual life experience, made me see the richness of art and society. In several exhibitions with foreign artists, I have witnessed the richness of the language of art, materials and breakthrough techniques. These are beyond the influence of ethnic and political ideology. In these moments, I believe, the spirit of human nature pauses and reflects on life. In this sense, the artist feels the existence and the time of life.
Five fingers togther make a heart, which represents the force of existence. Wholeheartedly. We use art as a symbol of peace, for all times!

Introduction (Sridhar Ramasami)
Hands – they come in pairs. The left hand and the right hand. They are different but linked and related. Each hand has 5 fingers and again each finger is different but linked.
Just like the two hands, this exhibition has two sets of artists – one chinese and one foreign. They are different, but in a rapidly shrinking world, they are strongly related and linked.
Each finger is represented by one artist. Just like the finger, each artist is also different. Some paint in an abstract style, some in a more representational manner. Some use very few colors, others use lots. They come from different parts of China and the world. However, they are also linked to each other.
The two hands – one foreign and one chinese are joining together in this exhibition in a firm handshake of friendship and unity.
