IF

    If I died, I would be satisfied with what I have done.

    If I rebirthed, I would be a fish in the blue sea.

    IfI cried, I would cry as loudly as my loved ones can hear.

    IfI smiled, I would smile as big as every stranger can see.

    IfI swimed, I would swim beyond the river to the sky.

    If I flied, I would fly as high as Jack’s Beanstalk.

    If I floated, I would float with the wind and fetch the star.

    If I could be back to fifteen years old, I would felt I were perfect with the chubby face and round belly.

    IfI could be braver, I would stand out and say I was not guilty because I was raped.

    However, there is no ‘if’, and there is only life.

    You only live once, and live as what you want.

    我不是一个擅长写诗的人,虽然作为文学院的学生喜欢过诗歌,但是不算感冒,自己也没尝试过,哪怕是中文的。

    第一次写这段,是在创意写作的作业里,总想尝试点没写过的吧。灵感是因为爱,这一老旧的话题。后来改了一稿,因为yolo这个词。之后在这边的同学发起一个关于被强奸无罪的请愿书以后,又修改加入了其他的思考。感觉修改永远不会结束的样子。

    越来越相信,有的时候灵感就在你的经历和你周遭朋友的经历里。
