修身种德，事业之基

德者事业之基，未有基不固而栋宇坚久者。
（The foundation of the German career, no solid foundation and a long backbone.）
【大意】
一个人的高尚品德就是他一生事业的基础，这就如同兴建高楼大厦一般，假如不事先把地基打得很稳固，就绝对不能建筑既坚固而又耐久的房屋。
「学究」
这段文字比较简单，没有特别的说法。
基础具备是任何事业成功的要素，没有扎实的基础是不可能有伟大的成果。有人会说，拿他人的基础作为自己成功的条件也大有案例，这个没错，但他的成功依然有基础存在，只是借用了他人的基础作为自己继续发展的条件而已，正所谓“成功都是站在巨人的肩膀上”。
但说到德是事业的基础，这话还是有些过头，成就事业的基础靠不靠德来维系，这些并不能绝对，相互利益存在也是成功的基础，不要把德放在过于高的位置，这是另外一种绝对。
