《菜梗谈》90

厚德以积福，逸心以补劳，修道以解厄

（The thick virtue accumulates the blessing, the ease heart compensates the labor, practices the way to solve the problem）

「原文」

天薄我以福，吾厚吾德以迓之；天劳我以形，吾补吾心以逸之；天厄我以遇，吾亨吾道以通之；天且奈我何哉？

（Heaven thinme with blessing, I thick my virtue with the wind; heaven labor me with the form, I fill my heart with ease; heaven be in distressme Imeet, I Heng my way to pass it; God, what am I?）

【大意】

假如上天不给我许多福分，我就多作些善事来培养我的福分；假如上天用劳苦来困乏我，我就用安逸的心情来保养我疲惫的身体；假如上天用穷困来折磨我，我就开辟我的求生之路来打通困境。假如我能做到以上各点，上天又能对我如何呢？

「学究」

这段文字有点说不通，就硬说，很牵强。

其实每个人的命运呈现，就是天道，不存在天给多给少的说法，努力是天道，不努力也是天道，所有人的生命呈现只为自己，不为天，不为地，不为他人。

从这段文字可以看出《菜梗谈》的作者，他的很多观点只是一种说法，没有印证，实际上就是古代版的心灵鸡汤，听听而已，也未必较真。
