场景一：

Climbed up the waterspout.

有只小小的蜘蛛在水管上奋力不懈往上爬升。

Down came the rain

And washed the spider out.

突然下起了雨，小小的蜘蛛被冲走了。

And dried up all the rain,

场景三：

Climbed up the yellow pail.

小蜘蛛在黄色的水桶上奋力不懈往上爬升。

And flicked her with his tail.

Down fell the spider.

突然来了一只老鼠用尾巴将小蜘蛛扫下来了

The mouse ran out the door.

Climbed up the pail once more.

老鼠跑出门外，接着小蜘蛛在黄色的水桶上再次奋力不懈往上爬。

小蜘蛛爬上了摇椅。

Up jumped a cat

And knocked her in the air.

有只猫跳了起来，在空中撞到了它。

Down plopped the cat

And when he was asleep,

Back up the chair did creep.

猫一屁股坐下，等猫咪睡着时，小蜘蛛回到了椅子上，接着爬行。

And landed next to me.

And when the tree was dry,

And when her web was done,

特别具象的一个童谣绘本，可以引导小朋友去关注身边的小生物活动，把现实中蜘蛛的形象描绘得可爱又励志。

每一个场景之前，我都会问一下宝贝：“where is the spider？”前面几个场景他还是一脸懵，需要我说出中文才能指出来，到最后一个场景，我再这样问的时候，他就自己会去指小蜘蛛了。而且我唱过两遍，他就开始跟着我唱，不过很快他太困，睡着了。我想，再放慢点节奏，等等他，一定会收获到惊喜。
