I'm not smoking but I'm a second-hand smoker. Maybe you want to say I'm stupid.
Well, let me be the one to say that to myself. I am stupid just because I don't have a choice at least for now and I don't have that financial freedom yet.
You are probably wondering what's the connection between these two?
You see, in China, the government still doesn't have any clear kind of policy about smoking. It means everywhere you go, you can meet people with a burning cigarette between their fingers.
Yes, in some public places, it's prohibited but do you only go there?
Under this situation, what can we do? Wear a mask?
Go far away from smokers or just stay at home and never go out.
Wow, the latter is just impossible, we need to go our to connect with the world to help us grow.
How about going abroad like Singapore or Japan because their government have a strong policy on smoking.
It's also possible but you also need to consider if you can afford the expenses of living abroad. Until here, I want to say, living healthily is really hard but the good news is we can actually do something about it.
We can let the smokers be aware what smoking does to their body and to the environment. Teach them other ways to release their stress and other good habits.
We can make a group then together, show them that they need to quit right now. So my dears, let's get together to refuse to be a second hand smoker.
