As a Tester Developer you will need to be able to do the following:

Help design a testing strategy for a new application.
Build an automated regression test suite that tests APIs, frontend WebApps, and messaging queues.
Own the test suite and help others get comfortable running and extending the tests.
Work with developers to ensure features are of high quality.
Write C# backend code and/or React frontend code.
Assist the team with planning sprints, writing user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Requirements Analysis: Contribute in sprint planning on matters of requirements quality, testability, complexity 
Test design: Be involved in solution design to ensure adequate testability, provide input into non-functional characteristics and how to test them
Execution: Perform manual exploratory acceptance testing of new functionality. Run prepared automation.
Automation: Recommend areas for automation, contribute to test suites. Monitor automation pipeline for coverage.
Triage: Capture detects into tracking system in a reproducible way, give recommendations to project team on bug impact to help with priotisation.

Report issues related to usability and accessibility

Provide estimates for test activities and writing up test sessions
Run manual functional tests to identify defects and candidates for automation
Run non-functional tests to identify defects and improvements relating to accessibility, security and performance
Experience analysing and converting User Stories / Functional Requirements into detailed Acceptance Criteria and Test Scripts
Appreciation, experience and knowledge of intuitive user interfaces and good UX practices
Experience with Javascript
Experience documenting detailed and visual defect descriptions
Experience triaging, prioritising, organising and sizing defects across multiple projects
Experience managing releases, merging and deploying code to development environments

To be successful you will demonstrate:
5 years of experience as a QA Test Analyst/Test Engineer
Solid experience with working different data models, like relational, dimensional and entity-relationship (E-R)
Experience with testing of complex solutions across multiple digital platforms including CRM, Web/Portals, mobile apps and RPA technologies 
Experience in Azure, RPA technologies (UiPath), Power Platform and Test Automation would be an advantage, or you will be trained on this
Intermediate level of SQL skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience working in an Agile environment
Exposure working into Insurance/Financial Services

2+ Years’ experience in a large, complex and multi-integration organisations
1+ Years’ manual and/automation testing experience with web and desktop applications
Exposure to multiple applications of a medium to large nature
Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Excellent written and spoken English
1+ Years’ Jira experience, preferable

5+ years of experience in a manual testing role
Experience working on backend (API) services testing
Experience in automation desirable
Working on Microsoft platform Azure, .NET etc preferred
