Lesson88 Trapped in a mine
Six men have been trapped in a mine for seventeen hours.
If they are not brought to the surface soon they may lose their lives.
However,
rescue operations are proving difficult.
If explosives are used,
vibrations will cause the roof of the mine to collapse.
Rescue workers are therefore drilling a hole on the north side of the mine.
They intend to bring the men up in a special capsule.
If there had not been a hard layer of rock beneath the soil,
they would have completed the job in a few hours.
As it is,
they have been drilling for sixteen hours and they still have a long way to go.
Meanwhile,
a microphone, which was lowered into the mine two hours ago,
has enabled the men to keep in touch with the closest relatives.
Though they are running out of food and drink,
the men are cheerful and confident that they will soon get out.
They have been told that rescue operations are progressing smoothly.
If they knew how difficult it was to drill through the hard rock,
they would lose heart.

练习感悟：周四 中午幼儿园李老师打电话说菲菲不舒服，干劲去把宝儿接回来，下午带她去打了一针，大宝放学后，她爹要陪她一起去听小学生的管弦乐团的新年音乐会，到六点钟才回来。带小宝一起去麦当劳，小宝在车上就睡了。回来以后，我的情绪down到了极点，开始跟他吵架，自己生气得摔门而出，他坐在那里什么都不会做，开水不烧，家务任何事情，他跟一个白痴，残废人一样，从来不知道伸手去做一件，唉。我已经被这些事情烦透了，二宝哭了半天，他不给她洗手洗脸。自己躺在床上，想到从小到大，20多岁的时候，那些艰难的岁月，那些一想起就哭的岁月，二十年了，总是不想回家，我从小长大的家，因为有一个可怕的母亲，她从小对我的辱骂，冷漠，使我即使走出千里远，也不想回家，虽然我想念父亲，但是每次回家都是被母亲气着走的，每次看到她那个样子，我就不想呆了，即使流浪，她给我感觉是你不属于这里，这里不是你的家。好吧，38年了，再有38年，我依然不想再看见她，更不想跟她相处，她给的伤害，是最毒最狠的心里毒瘤，这一生都没有办法根除。我会带到另一个世界，只希望我的两个女儿不要延续我的毒瘤，快乐过一生。
