Jan, a public artist, neighborhood activist and tattoo shop owner in utrecht, painted a giant bookshelf onto a side of a low-rise building. He had went around the neighborhood, asking for people's opinion on book titles. Jan said, "the neighborhood where this work is made is filled with different cultures. and I’ve noticed that this project brought people together without pushing it. ... by being well read, I think, you will have a lot less definite opinions. your mind will be more open for differences, I believe."

在Utrecht的公众艺术家，社区热心人和纹身店老板Jan把一座底层建筑的一面外墙绘成了一个书架。他为此走街串巷地征求书名的建议。Jan说，“街坊四邻有着不同的文化。我发现这个项目让人们自愿走到了一起。……我想，多读书你的想法就不会那么极端。你就会对不同的东西持更包容。”
