Meanwhile, the editor was getting impatient, for the magazine would soon go to press. He sent the journalist two more faxes, but received no reply. He sent yet another fax informing the journalist that if he did not reply soon he would be fired. When the journalist again failed to reply, the editor reluctantly published the article as it had originally been written. A week later, the editor at last received a fax from the journalist. Not only had the poor man been arrested, but he had been sent to prison as well. However, he had at last been allowed to send a fax in which he informed the editor that he had been arrested while counting the 1,084 steps leading to the 15-foot wall which surrounded the president's palace.

练习感悟：

今天的课文总体不难，有一个复杂句有点难读，要搞清楚结构和意群。听了多次原声并且跟读后才找到换气的地方。另外还是发音不熟，不懂连读，意群不清以及语调等的综合原因，造成现在天天读课文都在赶，经常会漏词，读错或者发音不到位，今天就有小伙伴指出来了。虽然每天是跟着0.8倍速的原声读熟后，才加速朗读的，但是还是会有心里知道要饱满，读出来就不是了的这种情况。现在为止除了多读，还没有想到好的解决办法。继续积累吧。
