Knowing that you have a great interest in Everlasting Classic, a TV program I am fond of recently as well, I am more than pleased to introduce it to you. Hopefully, the following information will be helpful.
Unlike other shows with the purpose of entertaining audience, this program aims to raise Chinese people's awareness of preserving their own traditional culture. Its main feature is to combine classic poems written by people in ancient times with modern music to give them a new life. Given new tone and performed by well-known actors and singers, these classic works can be easily understood and accepted by younger generation. One of my favorite songs is The Song of tomorrow, the theme of which is to encourage us to treasure time.
As far as I am concerned, it is a great program and worth watching because it not only help us inherit our valuable culture, but promote our confidence in our own cultire. If you want to have a better understanding of Chinese culture, it is a good choice.
