For the interview, when I went to the CEO's office , I felt a bit nervous. But when I knocked the door ，Landsay opened it and greeted to me, looked just like a close friend. He have strong kiwi accent, I felt hard to understand. But He just asked something about my family, my home town. Then he take me to the world map and let me show him which part is my home city.
My job was a warehouse person. At beginning my wages is 9.50 nz dollars per hour. This is the minimum payment at that time by the law. And I have public holidays and 20 days annual holiday.
I have satisfied with it. Because for me the main aim is to learn English and the western company culture.
In the language school, I have to pay very expensive tuition fee for study. there are about half Chinese students and another half who comes from Korea and Japan and somewhere else in the classroom.So I cannot practice English in the school. But at work place, I always have many native English speakers to talk with. Also I have learned some skills from work, such as operating forklift and car maintenance, and I got pay.
Thinking in this way, I always have good work attitude and done good job.
