“Successfully putting a good idea into practice is more valuable than dreaming up a thousand ideas at home.” which is wrote by John Davison Rockefeller. This is the most insightful sentence I've read today. That is absolutely right. Opportunity only comes to you when you did something practical. Earnestly, when I did something hardheaded, I felt unprecedented pleasantness.

“An optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity; a pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity.”Opportunities are rare. People become successful because of opportunities. Sometimes it is worth to pay failure and frustration to avoid losing an opportunity. And what we can do is keep energetic and persistent whatever sort of failure we meet, this is the mere thing we can do.
I was very impressed by a story about Edison. Ages ago, a reporter interviewed Edison about the fact he had failed 10,000 times. But Edison replied he had never failed 10,000 times, only invented 10,000 ways that didn't work. Thus, that's why he succeeded. The same as our study.
Dream + failure + challenge = the way to success
This is also what I believe.

With pity but admiration, I've just been watching the women's volleyball match between China and Italy. It was certainly a tough match. I can't imagine how the Chinese women's volleyball team withstood the pressure to make it all the way to 30 points as I held my breath in front of the screen and prayed for them.
Sometimes, as Langping said “The spirit of the Chinese women's volleyball team is not to win the championship, but sometimes to do their best even though they know they won't win. Even if you stagger along the way, but still stand up and firmly walk down.”I can definitely say that I am already a fan of the Chinese women's volleyball team.
By the way, I've just received the offer from St.Cuthberth's College! So excited! I know this is a new challenge for me that I need to overcome it. Thus, with 100% confidence, I will ask for more of myself!

Searching, one of the greatest suspense film I've been watching. In this movie, I find that because of the Internet, there is less communication between parents and children, and the desire to learn about each other's lives via the electronic screen always turns out to be unsatisfying. Through the experience of father and daughter in the film, I deeply realise the importance of communication, also the Internet.
A couple of days ago, I complained to my mother about forbidding me to use the most popular apps. I said I was like a post-00s abandoned by the Internet. I didn't have any of those video games or social media except WeChat. But now I feel grateful for my mother that she didn't allow me using those apps. You will find how terrible it is after you finish watching this film by yourself.
By the way, about the girl smoke marijuana, I just find that society is not as righteous or good as I thought before. Therefore, it is better to stick to our baseline which can never be crossed, especially in this complicated world.

在这部电影中，我发现由于互联网的存在，父母和孩子之间的交流越来越少，通过电子屏幕了解彼此生活的愿望总是不尽如人意。通过影片中父女俩的经历，我深刻体会到了沟通的重要性，也体会到了互联网的重要性。
几天前，我向母亲抱怨说，她禁止我使用最流行的应用程序。我说我就像被互联网抛弃的00后。除了微信和QQ，我没有任何电子游戏或社交媒体。但现在我很感激我的母亲，她不允许我使用这些应用程序。当你一个人看完这部电影后，你会发现它是多么的糟糕。

Today I deeply aware of what is called "a gap". We all are the same age, but why do others know more than me?
Comparing them and me in the English literature class, I felt extremely depressed. They were like the fish in the water, but I only left hopelessness on my face. I didn't like that feeling. Besides, I have a reading test next week. What should I do?
But a person told me that gaps always make progress. Only I know how far between us, I would have more incentive. Trust yourself, you can be better than you wish.

Be yourself, plz don't care about others as you're nothing to lose. When you feel upset or depressed, you can vent your anger by drawing on a blank paper with a pencil as hard as you can. There is always something that's annoying. But you can't complain. Otherwise, you will feel even more upset.
So that's how important to keep a person or thing you really love. Then, every time you see it, you can only sense happiness.
