Good morning folks! Although it's still my Tuesday night for where I am.
Today is my "lazy" day. I thought I should take a break from the stressful schedule and just rest. I'm talking about after work hours, of course.
I usually took the Mondays off without doing any exercise. I had overdone it yesterday. I came home feeling tired after a very busy day today. So I decided to watched some TV after dinner.
I watched the latest episode of Hulu exclusive TV series《Catch 22》. It was the stories of the U.S. Air Force bombers fought the Nazi Germany in Europe in the WWII. I don't watch TV often. So I really enjoyed watching the brilliant big screen instead of my computer monitors and the one hour TV program.
Since I had such a good time, I decided to watch the next one, 《TheFirst》. It was a Si-Fi movie about mankind's first mission to Mars. The story started great. But then I was so stunned to see the the rocket that carried 5 astronauts exploded in the midair not so long after lunch!
This story reminded me the event of the space shuttle Challenger explosion about 30 years ago. I just came to this country and was a graduate student. 7 astronauts lost their lives in that tragedy. Space exploration is one of the great challenges to mankind. I solute to those men and women who made the ultimate sacrifices.
I was trying to relax for tonight. But the movies have made me wide awake!
