Merkel was born in Hamburg,West Germany,in 1954.A few weeks after Angela's birth,her father moved the family across the frontier and worked(chose to work)for the German Democratic Republic.Being raised in the seminary at Waldhof,surrounded by several hundred physically and mentally disabled people,Angela didn't let the environment to cast much of a shadow on her childhood.Instead,she learned back then to treat them in a normal way.
Angela was clumsy in physical trainings while talentd in study as a brilliant, ferociously motivated student.During her school periods,she had showed much intelligence and curiosity in Russian language and culture,which set up a communication channel between her and Putin.Merkel studied physics at Leipzig University and earned a doctorate in quantum chemistry in Berlin, during which time she participated well in the Free German Youth.
In 1989,with the fall of the Berlin Walls(wall)the chance came to Angela,she started to participate in democratic politics.And during her first campaign for chancellor in 2005,she became the first female from the East German（Germany） to be in this position.
Faced with strong criticism from dissidents and whisperers,Merkel fighted with her weapons of intelligence and will and power.These qualities also helped to propel her extraordinary rise.
