This graph shows the total numbers of Covid19 cases globally by March 16 2020 from the source of WHO. Blue Line shows the datas for China cases, and red line shows the dates in other countries.
【主体】
We can see that in china it started in February with about 10,000 cases, while the total infected cases increased very fast within 2 week to over 40,000 cases and grew dramatically to 70,000 cases by the mid of February. Then it started to flat out and stay at the number of about 80,000 cases through March of 2020.
By the time China cases seemed to be in control and the blue line stayed flat, and number of cases outside China continued to escalate from the last week of March and surpassed China total number of 80,867 and rise quickly to 100,679 cases on March 16.
【总结】
In conlusion, the new coronavirus infected more than 180,000 people worldwide and the numbers of cases outside China continues to escalate.
