Georgia Reports 8455 New Cases, 41 Deaths

8455 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 41 people have died, and 18,206 people have recovered.

A total of 1,584,454 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 1,447,969 have recovered and 16,022 have died.

The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:

3 548 cases were confirmed in Tbilisi, Adjara – 624, Imereti – 1 438, Kvemo Kartli – 363, Shida Kartli – 520, Guria – 358, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 546, Kakheti – 664, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 174, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 144, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 76.

2,808,278 people have been fully vaccinated so far.

On February 23, 10,230 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia, 7223 patients recovered and 48 died.

一、据格鲁吉亚政府疫情防控门户网站（stopcov.ge）信息，2月24日，格境内新增新冠肺炎确诊病例8455例，治愈18206例，死亡41例。据介绍，今日确诊病例中，3548例来自第比利斯市，1438例来自伊梅列季州，664例来自卡赫季州，624例来自阿扎尔自治共和国，546例来自萨梅格列洛—上斯瓦涅季州，520例来自什达—卡尔特利州，363例来自克维莫—卡尔特利州，358例来自古里亚州，174例来自姆茨赫塔—姆季阿涅州，144例来自萨姆茨赫—扎瓦涅季州，76例来自拉恰—列奇呼米和下斯瓦涅季州。今日共进行36918份核酸和抗原快速检测，阳性率为22.9%。  

二、截至2月24日17:00，格境内新冠肺炎累计确诊病例1584454例，治愈1447969例，死亡16022例。此外，7人正接受医学隔离，5096人接受医学观察，781人被安置在专用酒店。
