宾语从句在句子中充当宾语。宾语从句为名词性从句，采用陈述语序。引导宾语从句的词有that, 连接代(副)词, 和whether/if 等。宾语从句与普通的宾语一样，除了直接位于动词后作宾语之外，还可以作介词的宾语，也可在间接宾语后做直接宾语。下面详述宾语从句的用法。

1. 由 that 引导的宾语从句

I discovered that the most important thing was to speak English well. 我发现最重要的是要能讲好英语。

Some scientists believe that there will be such robots in the future. 一些科学家相信将来将有这样的机器人。

that 有时可以省略

They agree it may take hundreds of years. 他们同意这可能要百年。

2. 由连接代(副)词引导的宾语从句

I am going to do what I want to do. 我将会做我想要做的。

We never know what will happen in the future. 我们从来不知道将来会发生什么。

3. 由 whether 和 if 引导的宾语从句

4. 宾语从句结构还可以是：连接代（副）词 + 不定式I don't know what to do. 我不知道应该做什么。

They can't decide whether to stay. 他们不能决定是否要留下来。

5. 宾语从句在句中的位置以上例句中，宾语从句都是直接位于动词之后，下面讲述宾语从句在句中的其他几种位置。

1) 位于间接宾语之后，相当于直接宾语

Lana told Marcia she would bring some books to her house on Friday night. 莱姆告诉玛西娅她将在星期五晚上带一些书到她的房间。

She asked me if she could copy my homework. 她问我她是否能复制我的家庭作业。

I asked her why she wanted to do that. 我问她为什么想要做那个。

2) 作介词的宾语
