The day before yesterday during the half time of the basketball game between the Miami Heat and the Orlando Magic, the Miami Heat honored the former player Chris Bosh and retired his #1 player jersey. It was one of the ultimate rewards that a player can get since his jersey will be hanging in the arena above the basketball court forever.
I watched the game and the half time celebrations. It was very emotional to Bosh and most of the audience, including me. Bosh joined the team in 2010 together with LeBrown James and Duane Wade to making of "Big Three" that eventually dominated the NBA for several years.
Bosh joined the team as the third best player behind James and Wade. This means he will not be the guys who handle the ball for scoring most of the time. And he had to take the rebound and defending duties. These also means his statistics won't look as good as the other As the #1 player in Toronto Raptors previously, he unselfishly performed his duty. Since then they have won two NBA championships and 4 East Coast Championships.

He retired after became ill with a rare disease causes blood clots in his body in 2016. As sports commentator said after the ceremony for Bosh the day before yesterday, "Now every team in the NBA is looking for players like Bosh." The best players are hard to get for the teams. But the best players who plays unselfishly is even harder to find, such as Chris Bosh.
