关于英语书面表达提分策略，我前面已经讲了三篇。今天来聊聊如何使用英语谚语提高写作分数的话题。
一、什么是英语谚语？
英语谚语是英语国家的人们长期生活和实践的总结以及经验和智慧的语言精华与结晶。
英语谚语是不可多得的英语教学资源，在英语教学中发挥着其它学习材料无法替代的作用。如果教师能在课堂教学中巧妙地讲授一些英语谚语，就会帮助学生提高英语水平，帮助他们感悟人生的哲理，提升学生的人文素养
二、为什么要学习谚语？
通过学习，我们发现英语谚语里含有丰富的词汇、句型及较为规范的语法和修辞等现象，而且语言凝练，内涵丰富，寓意深刻，幽默诙谐，蕴含着高度的智慧和哲理。
三、如何把英语谚语运用到书面表达上？
1、结合话题，选择恰当谚语
如内容是：只有勤奋学习，才能收获满满的话题，就可以开门见山用上“No pains，no gains.（“一分耕耘，一分收获”。）”
如话题是：鼓励同学们有梦想。就可以以Where there is a will, there is a way.(有志者事竟成）
话题是交友类的，可以用：A friend in need is a friend indeed.（“患难见真情”）
2、谚语一般放在什么位置上比较好？
多数情况下是放在段落的首句，已引起话题。起到主题句的作用。如放在句末，起作用是总结概括作者的观点落地。
四、应用案例
1、放在句首引起话题
（1）Ladies and gentlemen:
Good evening!Today Ifeel it an honour to stand here. And my topic today is "seeing is believing."
"seeing is believing"means that seeing by yourself is better than listening 100 times.It's been said that seeing is believing. But the fact is, we all have our blind spots...Sometimes we recognize them ourselves. Sometimes others recognize them for us.
（2） Rome was not built in a day,No pains,no gains.There're so many various things like these sayings.All these show us that the success couldn't be gained without any efforts.
（3）As we know,the success comes after the efforts and the time.
（4）Thewellknownsaying“Knowledgeispower”hasbeenbelievedinforhundreds
ofyears,whileBaconwasmeaningthat“Doyouwantpower?Thenlearnknowledge.”
2. 谚语放在结尾段表示作者强调观点
In short, the proverb “It is never too old to learn.” is true of everyone. Let us start and keep learning.
3.Wellbegun,halfdone. 的模仿句子
In conclusion, a well beginning is the fundamental to accomplish any of the impossibles.
五、介绍一些常用的英语谚语
It’snevertoooldtolearn.活到老，学到老。
Wellbegun,halfdone.好的开始是成功的一半。
Factsspeaklouderthanwords.事实胜于雄辩。
Timeandtidewaitfornoman.时间不等人。
Asthetree,sothefruit.种瓜得瓜，种豆得豆。
Romewasnotbuiltinaday.成功并非一朝一夕的事。
