英诗新译：莎园漫步

闲步莎莉花园，与我的挚爱邂逅

雪白纤纤玉足，承载她莎园漫游

她恳请我爱得自然从容，如树叶生长一般

但我正值年少无知，对她的心声不以为然

她恳请我活得自在蓬勃，如野草长于河堰

但我彼时年少无知，而今感时伤怀泪涟涟

英文原诗——

Down by the Salley Gardens my love and I did meet

She passed the Salley Gardens with little snow-white feet

She bid me take love easy as the leaves grow on the tree

But I being young and foolish with her would not agree

In a field by the river my love and I did stand

And on my leaning shoulder she laid her snow-white hand

She bid me take life easy as the grass grows on the weirs

But I was young and foolish and now am full of tears

叶芝（1865年~1939年），爱尔兰大诗人，“爱尔兰文艺复兴运动”领袖。叶芝的诗受浪漫主义、唯美主义、神秘主义、象征主义的影响，风格独特。

叶芝最著名的诗歌是“当你老了”，一般文艺爱好者应该都读过；现在被人改变成流行歌曲，传唱一时，听歌的人却并不一定知道是叶芝的原作。

这首“莎园漫步”也是叶芝名作，之前被译为“经过柳园”，在欧美早被谱曲传唱。

之前流传的译文基本上不押韵，而英文诗是很讲究韵脚的，于是斗胆出手，翻译了一回。自认为还不错，反正有韵脚。
