The Story of Ming Lan Becomes Another Hit After US Debut

Chinese TV drama The Story of Ming Lan, set during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), has debuted in the US following broadcasts in countries such as Japan, South Korea and Canada, becoming another channel to spread traditional Chinese culture.
以南宋(1127-1279)为背景的中国电视剧《知否知否应是绿肥红瘦》，在日本、韩国和加拿大等国播出后，在美国首次播出，成为传播中国传统文化的另一个渠道。

The reception of the TV drama has been approaching the level of another popular Chinese period drama, The Story of Yanxi Palace. Set during the Qing Dynasty, Yanxi Palace was the most googled TV show of 2018.
