The Age of Anxiety

随着年龄的增长，女人的兴趣和关注点会转移吗？

Can a woman's interest and concern shift as she grows older?

在毕业之初，更多的关注恋爱和婚姻。成家后慢慢转移到工作上，若工作顺心如意，可能就不大愿意生孩子，因为不愿意过多付出精力在家人和孩子上；若工作不顺心如意，可能就变成了在公司混日子，更多地关注家庭和孩子，或萌生再生二胎的打算。

In the first several years after graduation, a girl pays more attention to love affair and marriage. When she becomes a wife, gradually she changes her focus to career. And if her career turns out to go well, she may refuse to give a baby since it means she will have to spend more energy on taking care of the family and the baby. If unfortunately, her career  turns out to be something of disappointment, perhaps she will muddle along in the company and care more about family, and what's more, she may even have a plan to give birth to a second child.

但是，由于人的精力有限，总不能家庭事业都照顾得完美。不满足，便滋生了焦虑，导致缺乏安全感。再加上大多数人无法做到沧海人生，拈花一笑的豁达和洒脱，无法明白人起于产房，终于尘土的共同命运，在人生的旅途上负重过多，便更加的疲惫和焦虑。

However, due to our limited energy, the family and the career can't be given 100% concern at the same time. As a result, discontent produces anxiety as well as lack of security. Moreover, it's difficult for people to be open-minded and big-hearted enough to smile at whatever troubles in life and understand humans' common destiny that we all come to the world from mother's womb and end up as dust. Consequently, on the journey of life, we are often overloaded by desires leading to our tiredness and anxiety.

最近，很多声音都在呼吁发展副业，变成多面手，这样即使失业也能养活自己。于是，我也准备加入这个多面手的队伍，以为这样能减少我的焦虑和失业恐惧。至于是否真的有效，有待于我的验证。

In recent days, we hear a voice calling on us to cultivate a second career and become a versatile person because in this way we can support ourselves even if we are fired by the boss. So I am also prepared to join the versatile team in the expection of reducing the  fear of anxiety and umemployment. As for its result, it's still waiting for me to check.

我确定那些处在当今社会金字塔顶尖的人物也在焦虑，那么谁不会焦虑呢？或许焦虑真的于个人能力无关。佛家云，人生有三个境界：看山是山，看水是水；看山不是山，看水不是水；看山还是山，看水还是水。我认为第一和第三境界的人大多是不焦虑的，焦虑的大多数处在第二境界。但是目前，我的焦虑还处在物质层，尚未达到精神层。所以，努力奋斗从而具备看很多山水的条件才是我的正道啊！

For those people who are at the top of the pyramid in current society, I bet they can't  avoid the anxiety either, but who can escape the anxiety? Maybe anxiety has nothing to do with personal ability. Just like the Buddhist says life has three states: the mountain is the mountain and the water is the water; the mountain is not the mountain and the water is not the water; the mountain is still the mountain and the water is still the water. In my opinion, most people in the first and the third state are not anxious but the majority in the second state are anxious. However,  my anxiety still stays in the material level and not reachs the spiritual level. Consequently, in order to make myself able to see  a lot of mountains and waters, my right way is to spare no efforts to go at it.
