1、由Lona Opie 女士所编写的《My Very First Mother Goose》，我认为是鹅妈妈童谣中的经典。国内信宜出版社《My Very First Mother Goose》为蓝本，精选53首童谣编成《鹅妈妈经典童谣》，值得收藏。这本书配有CD，每一首童谣都有情境配乐且朗读三次，其中第二次是俏皮的童音朗读。

2、美国小学生在二年级之前，熟悉的“word family”至少有64个，着64个所涵盖字占了英语基础3000字的绝大部分。

透过“word family”认识字母组合，熟悉拼字规则，这才是大量迅速积累字词的科学方式。
