Good morning friends! TGIF!
Today is the first day of the summer this year. It's called the Summer Solstice. And the weather forecast even predicted that this will happen at exactly 11:45 am.
What would happen is due to the tilted spinning of our Earth, it would be to this point that the maximum tilting would be reached. And after this, the Earth will tilt the other way so that the Sun will be further angle away from us. Therefore the Sun rays are directly over us at the most today. I was wondering how they got this so precise to the minute?

Anyway, today is hot outside. The temperature in the afternoon is 96-degree Fahrenheit (35-degree Celcius). When I walked outside, the air felt toasty even under shades. And tonight, my Chinese friends wanted to play volleyball! I can't just say "good luck!" to them and be done with it because if I don't go, then they would think I am a week wimp. So I will have to go out there and sweat it out! Wish me the best of luck guys.
