Aligator 和Crocodile对于我们不是英文为母语的人来说我们都会解释为鳄鱼，但在绘本了，我们可以很好的分辨Aligator长吻鳄和Crocodile短吻鳄，学习英文绘本可以很好的让我们掌握英文的地道用法。

可爱的画风

绘本里的Alligator像一个孩子，而Crocodile则像一个妈妈。Crocodile从一早起床就开始忙碌，而每次她询问Alligator能不能帮忙的时候，Alligator都有一个很好的借口。最后，Crocodile享用美味的鱼午餐，而Alligator只能看着流口水。

Wake up, Alligator!

醒醒啦，Aliigator(短吻鳄)！

We’ve got a busy day ahead. Lots to do.

今天是忙碌的一天，有很多事要做。

Oh, let me finish my dream.

哦，让我把梦做完吧。

I’m going shopping for some bread.

我要去买些面包。

Are you coming, Alligator？

你跟我一起去吗？Alligator。

Not right now, Crocodile. I must have a bath!

现在不行，Crocodile(鳄鱼)。我必须洗个澡！

Time to clean the house!  Will you help me, Alligator?

绘本赏析

绘本的是一个学习的好机会，在绘本里让孩子可以知道劳动的重要性～但每一个人的都有自己的选择想要做的事情，从侧面我们要学习去尊重别人的选择，以及对于我们选择的要去承担后果，就像后面alligator没有东西吃一样。

关于作者

Annie Kubler （安妮·库布勒）

于1960年出身在法国东北部，在她大学毕业的时候获得了视觉通讯学位，专业为儿童插画。之后，她于1985年搬到英格兰。她接受了出版商Michael Twinn的邀请加入Child’s Play团队 (Michael Twinn为Child's Play的所有者和创始人)。在过去的20年里，她一直是孩子们的游戏艺术总监，同时创作并出版了很多的儿童书籍，主题十分丰富。
